Over $700 Paid By Each Kenyan to See Pastor T.D. Jakes
Soar Africa leadership and Entrepreneurship Summit, was held in Nairobi on 5th and 6th September 2019. The events media sponsor is the Standard Group Plc.

The summit was aimed at creating a progressive and thought-provoking platform where leaders from the private and public sectors, as well as entrepreneurs, will have conversations that inspire economic progress for the continent.
The event was a full-day conference session at the Kasarani Indoor Arena with its headline speakers, T.D. Jakes of USA, Strive Masiyiwa of Zimbabwe and Nunu Ntshilinga of South Africa as well as interactive, panel sessions with various invited guests and delegates.

The tickets for the summit were sold for Delegates, Kshs 25,000($240) and VVIP Kshs 75,000($722) and surprisingly a click on the “buy ticket button” revealed that tickets for delegates and VVIP were all sold out.
The summit creates a space where the right leadership ingredients, knowledge transfer, and mentorship are pushed because it believes that only by pulling together, none is left behind. It is aimed at organizing unique themes through renowned keynote speakers form the public and private sectors.

Bishop TD Jakes in a press briefing said “I have authored a book called Soar and I am delighted to participate in the Soar Africa forum” He continued that “building businesses is also part of spirituality. I look forward to engaging in a conversation that will help in growing Kenya”
