2 FUOYE Students Shot Dead, Policeman Beaten To Death As Revenge
Two students of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), in Ekiti State in Nigeria, have been feared shot dead by the police during a peaceful protest over poor power supply in the community.
As retribution, the enraged students allegedly beat a policeman to death and set the office of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company, and a police van ablaze.

Today’s riots is coming after a similar action four months ago. The furious students carried cardboards with inscriptions such as “Say no to NEPAPHOBIA, and chanted that they needed light.
It seemed like a peaceful protest until disaster stepped in.
