Kevin Hart Sued For $60 Million By Woman At Center Of Alleged Sex Tape Scandal

Monica Sabbag, who appeared in a 2017 sex tape with Kevin Hart, is suing the comedian for $60 million in damages.

Monica claims that Hart and a friend conspired to film the consensual sexual encounter to generate publicity.

In the court documents, Sabbag claims Hart in fact knew of the secret video camera within the hotel room and allowed Jackson access to the room so they could tape her in secret.

The three-minute long video, which shows the 28-year-old model naked from the waist down, was posted online in September 2017.

The complaint reads, “Hart conspired with Jackson to intentionally record Ms. Sabbag naked and engaged in private sexual relations with Hart in a private bedroom at the Cosmopolitan without her knowledge or consent for the purpose of obtaining tremendous financial benefit for himself.”

In 2017, Hart apologized to his then-pregnant wife, Eniko Parrish, and his two children on social media, where he asserted Jackson was trying to extort him. The FBI was reportedly investigating the alleged extortion attempt.

In September 2017, Sabbag came forward at a press conference, identifying herself as the woman involved with Hart in the recording and saying, “I am not an extortionist. I had nothing to do with these recordings.”

Hart was discharged from the hospital last week after undergoing surgery and is currently recovering from his injuries from a car crash.
