Kriss Darlin will be receiving Sh. 250,000 from the Orange party. ODM head Raila on Monday refunded the amount to the DJ and eight other aspirants. In short, all who lost the ODM ticket to Bernard Otieno Okoth alias Imran got their money back. The refund is a small consolation for the DJ who knelt for Raila Odinga when seeking the much coveted ODM ticket.

This refund followed a closed-door meeting between the aspirants and their party leader Raila Odinga. The aspirants tabled their grievances over mishaps that took place during the party primaries. The party ended up acknowledging that there were mistakes that could have been avoided.
Mr. Odinga resolved to refund the Sh2.25 million the nine candidates had paid to the party for the primaries.

In a statement to newsrooms on Monday, ODM denied that Raila was furious at how the primaries were conducted. “Mr Odinga acknowledges that there were challenges in the nominations, with names missing from the voter register but those were not tailored or deliberately introduced to favour or disenfranchise any aspirant.
