Presidency Terminate Appointment Of Manaf Ibrahim As Director Of Political Affairs At The Vice President’s Secretariat

Manaf Ibrahim, the aggrieved aspirant in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Asawase constituency Parliamentary primary who secured an interim injunction to restrain the Asawase primary has been fired from his position at the Vice President’s Secretariat.

The termination of his appointment was made in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Vice President, Augustine Blay, on 30th September 2019 copied to the Chief of Staff, the Secretary to the President and the Acting Chief Director at the Presidency.

No reason for his termination was cited in the statement.

TERMINATION OF APPOINTMENT

I have been directed to inform you that your appointment as Director of Political Affairs at the Vice President’s Secretariat has been terminated effective 30th September 2019.

2. Notwithstanding the termination, you are still under the obligation of confidentiality that you signed during your employment.
