Jon Benjamin Dashed Nana Aba iPhone 11 Or She Borrowed It?

Social media is inundated day in day out with disagreement on issues. And so, the controversy surrounding this particular matter doesn’t come as a surprise at all.

Since the release of the new iPhone 11 and its related models, many celebrities have gone ahead to acquire the product for their personal use- some even for their fans and friends.

Therefore, it wouldn’t be news that a Ghanaian celebrity has also bought the iPhone 11. In this instance, the person in question is TV host and media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah. Yes, Nana Aba has upgraded her iPhone.

However, events leading to her acquisition of the iPhone 11 is where all the controversy lies. Nana Aba has been to the United Kingdom after visiting New York for the 2019 GUBA USA Awards.

Over there, she met with UK Diplomat and former British Ambassador to Ghana, Jon Benjamin. She shared a picture on Twitter about their meeting.

The two then took a picture- which was again shared on Twitter. In that photo, Nana Aba is seen holding her old iPhone.

But Nana Aba posted on her Instagram that she has acquired the iPhone 11 wearing the same outfit as the one she had met Jon Benjamin. Social media commentators immediately picked on this and alleged that the iPhone 11 didn’t belong to Nana Aba.

She, however, posted a picture of her old and new iPhones with the caption ‘my 10 has suffered’. Perhaps that could have been enough to put the questions on the minds of people at rest that indeed the iPhone 11 belonged to her.

But no. The allegations immediately changed. Now social media users are alleging that Jon Benjamin had dashed her the phone, and that she probably didn’t buy it herself.

We don’t know how true these allegations are, but one thing is certain; such controversies will never end on social media!
