Should Ghanaians Be On The Alert Of A Possible Increase In Kidnapping Or Is It Just A Case Of Missing Persons?

The official twitter account of the Ghana Police Service within 15 minutes tweeted pictures of more than three missings persons and we do not know if Ghanaians should be worried.

In the wake of the terrible kidnapping of our three Takoradi girls and the sad way it ended, people have become alert and vigilant about their communities in other to help the Police arrest suspected perpetrators.

One of Ghana’s leading media houses, Joy News has also for some time now embarked on an “If you see something, say something” campaign in a bid to quickly inform the police of any bad acts in every Ghanaian community.

These acts are expected to curb the increasing rate of kidnapping activities currently going on but a tweet on the official Twitter Page of the Ghana Police Service has gotten many people worried.

All of the missing persons as reported left their various homes in September 2019 and since hasn’t returned and this I think is disturbing. Could it be that the various campaigns to reduce and completely stop these acts are not seeing the light of day?

Is it just a case of missing persons or will we be told later in the future that they were kidnapped and killed? Are Ghanaians save?
