Here are the signs that “your man” is ready to take things further to the next level; The next level being dating truly as a couple and maybe even enjoying monogamy.

1. He answers calls comfortably around you always

This is a big big sign. If he answers all types of calls – work, friends, mum and especially baby mama around you, you’re special. Rejoice; you might be his girlfriend already unofficially.

2. He goes out of his way to see and talk to you, and not just for sex

Being busy is the number one real excuse for not seeing people. If the guy you’re dating actually makes effort and takes time to see you, talk to you and call you, he’s serious. If you’re calls all end up in sex, it’s just a booty call.

3. He takes you out in public

Do you really need this explained? If all you do is meet up at odd hours mostly in each others houses, you two are probably just having fun. If you’re taken out for brunch in town, now that’s serious.

4. He brings you food – especially your favourite food

The way to anyone’s heart is through their stomach. If he brings you food and treats you to your favourite dishes or even just makes you a fruit salad, he’s trying to get to your heart.
