Sometimes My Kids Would Wipe The Vomit From My Mouth When I Was Drunk – Confessions of a Sober Comedian After 7 Years of Daily Drinking

Kenyan comedian Rapcha the Sayantist, officially known as Francis Kibe is a sober man, period. In fact, he says quitting alcohol is the best decision he ever made after a long struggle with the bottle.

The Hot 96 radio presenter, who also hosts reggae show ‘Drop Zone’ alongside Shix Kapienga talked about his sobriety on twitter. He also went public about his struggle with alcoholism.

Rapcha said his drinking habits were so bad that his children would sometimes wipe the vomit from his mouth because he was too intoxicated to handle himself.

“My kids used to wipe vomit from my mouth… it was ugly, it was a bad life and I changed it… Stopped drinking for good and decided to focus on my body, food and my career … It’s the best decision I ever made,” Rapcha said.

He went on to thank the people who stood by him and supported him as he fought his way back to sobriety after 7 years of drinking daily.

“For the past 10yrs I wasn’t living right, I have practically been drunk for over 7yrs of the last ten, every day, every F**kin day, I ain’t doing that sh*t no more…” read part of a long post he shared on Instagram.
