4 Nigerian Male Celebs Who Wear Human Hair Wigs To Hide Their Bald Pates

Published

A toupee is a hairpiece or partial wig of natural or synthetic hair worn to cover partial baldness or for theatrical purposes; in this case, for showbiz purposes. Over the years, some Nigerian male artists have been accused of wearing wigs or toupees to cover their bald pates in a bid to slow the age-growing process and to look good in the cameras. Though they have denied such reports, the change in hair growth is quite undeniable.

Charles Okocha: Sometime back when he was fully fledged in acting, Charles Okocha was bald and rocked it proudly. Yet now, the actor seems to have suddenly sprouted nice strands of hair on his previously bald pate which seems too good to be true.

Peter Okoye: Though the member of the defunct Psquare group was not bald hitherto, he also seems to have recently acquired some wavy strands on his head which looks exactly like Okocha’s own. Maybe they have the same hair dealer.

Kcee: The singer formally kept his hair shaven quite low, but now seems to also have a surge of hair growth. One thing with their wigs is that they all look the same, which is slicked back in waves and parted at the sides.

E-Money: Brother to singer Kcee, it appears the two sought hair advice with each other and decided to purchase wigs to help with their already handsome looks. E-Money sometimes sports his normal low-cut hair, but he apparently wears the toupee when the occasion calls for it.

Though these Nigerian celebs are the only ones we know, we’ll keep you updated if other male stars decide to join in the fun.
