It’s hard to live in an African country especially Nigeria and not be reminded daily of how messed up everything is. African leaders are no doubt a big disappointment and most people are simply tired of expecting any better from them.

Even if your plan is to take a pleasant stroll in your hood, there is always an inconvenience to be disappointed in. Nigerian actor Chidi Mokeme was enjoying a ride when he came across some street vendors and they had a good time together with a “street party”.

Even though it was all smiles and laughter in the moment, the actor couldn’t help but realize that these little children who were resigned to hawking on the streets could have had better lives if only their leaders weren’t such a bunch of criminals.

Taking to Instagram to share the precious moment, he wrote, “These boys really blessed me with their attitude and I had to bless them back….. Then we had a ‘street party’. I wish they lived in a country of proactive leaders, whose first, and if possible, only responsibility, will be to assure that they get the best opportunities to maximize their potentials.

Unfortunately, they live in a country of Executhieves, Legislooters, and Judiciarogues., who cannot even guarantee that they get the most basic of education. 
A country where every citizen runs a private local government, providing their own light, water, education, healthcare, security, food, etc.. while the elected or selected leaders continue sharing their collective patrimony and promising everything is “technically” under control.
