The African Musik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) is the only award ceremony in the diaspora that caters to all African music.

Among the celebrities who are taking home the prize are Nigeria’s Burna Boy, Zlatan and Phyno. Burna Boy however was not in attendance. He is currently in Dublin.
Burna Boy snatched the Artist of the Year Award while Phyno took Best Rap Act 2019. Zlatan on the other hand won Song of the Year with his collaboration with Burna Boy, Killing Dem.
