2019 is almost over and with the advancement of modern technology, one would take it for granted that the average person has at least seen a computer and knows the basic parts.

Not too long ago a Ghanaian ICT teacher was trending for drawing a Microsoft Word programme on a blackboard because there were no computers to teach the children with. One would hope that was an isolated situation and school children in rural areas do not have it that bad, but the truth is that there are a lot of basic school pupils who have never been in close proximity to an actual computer.

In a video sighted on Instagram by Africacelebrities.com, a schoolgirl is seen crying her eyes out just because she was asked to touch a mouse. The poor girl heard the word “mouse” and thought it was the actual mammal.
