Davido Reveals One Meal His Late Mother Prepared For Him Which He Won’t Ever Forget

Nigerian pop star Davido has shared one of his beautiful moments with his deceased mother when he was a child.

Speaking in an interview with Spotify, Davido disclosed his favourite meals and also ate said meals on set. His first food option was chicken friedrice and plantain, stating that the dish was a traditional party meal.

His second option was fried fish and a side of okra, commenting on his Lagos background and how the city was made up of hundreds of fishermen.

He further divulged that he was half-American, and half-Nigerian, thus every song he recorded was made with these two nationalities in mind, in a bid to satisfy them both music wise.

His third food option was boiled yams with egg sauce, commenting that when he was still a kid, his mum used to pack the dish for him to take to school in the morning all the time.
