The silver star award is awarded to channels that reach 100,000 subscribers. Trust me, it’s not easy getting even 1000 subscribers on you tube. These awards therefore come as a milestone for beauty and lifestyle bloggers, Joanna and Maxine.

Joanna Kinuthia who has her own make up line, Joanna K Cosmetics reached 100k on her channel. She posted a pic on Instagram showing off her award and thanking her fans for their support.
Maxine Wabosha who is a Nivea brand ambassador also got awarded her silver play button. She let her fans know the next stop is a gold star award for 1 million subscribers.
