As A Christian You Shouldn’t Pay Tithes – Daddy Freeze On Tithing And What One Must Do Instead

Nigerian media personality Daddy Freeze is obviously not a supporter of the scam known as tithing and has asked people to give their money to the poor instead. A follower of his was on the way to pay their tithe but saw some beggars and decided to give them the money instead. But they later had doubts about the act and wanted to find out from Daddy Freeze if that was as good as paying tithes, to which he gave a big yes.

He wrote:

“Well technically yes, you have paid the poor tithe which is one of the three types of tithing recommended by Moses.

However, as a christian, you shouldn’t pay tithes! Ask any pastor to show you one single scripture where Christians (Christians not Jews, Malachi is for Jews remember🙄), were instructed to pay tithes, where anyone who wasn’t Jewish paid tithes or where Christ or the disciples collected tithes and they would start connecting imaginary dots in their heads fueled by their fertile imaginations.

Tithing is the old law (Hebrews7:5), and the old law is the law of Sin and death:…”

He proceeded to quote some Bible verses and ended by saying:

Now some pastors would say tithing precedes the law citing the instance Abram gave Melchizedek a tithe in Genesis 14, forgetting to inform you that Abram did this only once in his life, from the proceeds of war and not his income. Also, note that after removing the 10% he returned the 90% or so back to the king of Sodom, where he got it from, do you return 90% of your salary back to your office?🙄 This was also before the specific promise for Christianity in Genesis 17 so it doesn’t count as a Christian doctrine. –
Giving to the poor makes you fulfil the instructions of Yahushua in Mathew 25, so give to the poor over tithes any day! 🙏
