TRAGEDY: Man Allegedly Commits Suicide After Girlfriend Painfully Jilted Him In Keta

A young man of 26 years in Keta has reportedly committed suicide after the love of his life painfully jilted him.

The man, identified as Attipoe Selorm with the nickname ‘Chronicle’, from a reliable source met his girlfriend on his way to town with another man and ordered the taxi driver to pull over after the driver drew his attention to his girlfriend being in the company of another man.

Selorm is said to have confronted his girlfriend who denied any activity with the new man but refused following him home. The close source said the girlfriend later called Selorm’s home to inform them of his threats of committing suicide.

Sadly, when Selorm got home, he was so drunk that all he did was to cry helplessly. The source said, his relatives present at the time tried getting him to talk to no avail only to find him hanged at the neck the next morning.

His body has since been deposited at the Keta hospital morgue pending autopsy. See the picture of the deceased below.
