Catholic Priest Abducted By Gunmen In Enugu
Within 8-months, a total of eight Catholic priests have been abducted in Enugu State, Nigeria. The latest to add to the number is Reverend Father Malachy Asadu who was whisked off on Monday, yesterday.

Father Asadu, priest of Nsukka Catholic Diocese was abducted along Imilike-Nsukka Road while he was said to be returning from a diocesan meeting held at Theresa Cathedral, Nsukka.
The State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of the clergyman.

Police PRO, Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the incident on the telephone with reporters on Tuesday said that details of the priest’s abduction were confusing.

However, Amaraizu stated that the police will do anything in their power to restore the the Father back.
