After Weeks Of Being Remanded, Court Grants Mompha N100 Million Bail

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Friday granted N100m bail to, Instagram big boy Ismaila Mustapha, aka Mompha, over alleged N33billion fraud and money laundering charges.

This development comes some weeks after Mompha established a fundamental rights enforcement suit before a High Court of Lagos State, against EFCC for his continued detention.

The EFCC had arrested him on October 19, 2019, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. He was remanded in the commission’s custody following a court order.
