2019 has been a year of hits from both renown and upcoming African artists. One song that has stood out since its debut is Parte after Parte by Uganda’s Big Tril. It has grown so popular that Cardi B and Offset were spotted listening to it.

The song which was released 3 months ago quickly trended to be the top East African party song. In fact, a bunch of cheeky Kenyan artists decided to release the remix of Parte after parte without permission from Big Tril and his managers. They were served with copyright strikes for the violation.

In a video posted last night on Cardi B’s Instagram stories, Cardi and Offset sing and dance to the song ‘Parte after Parte’. Offset who does the dancing is cheered on by Cardi B who sings the lyrics like a woman raised in Africa. Clearly, the song has grown popular beyond Africa to the rest of the world.

Cardi B was recently in Africa for two days where she performed in Nigeria and Ghana. It is reported that the artist made $ 1.8 million from just those two countries.

If I made that much money in 48 hours in Africa, I’d definitely be jamming to Parte After Parte as I head to a lit party in my home town.
