“He Is Not Your Lil Bro” – MI Abaga Attacks Akon For Referring To Wizkid As His ‘Lil Brother”

‘Who is your bro?’ Rapper MI has disagreed with American-Sengalese singer Akon referring to Wizkid as his ‘lil bro’. According to MI, Akon should desist from calling Wizkid ‘lil bro’ because Wizkid is anything but little.

Reacting to this, fans have pulled out Wizkid’s tweet to Akon some years ago when he was still climbing the ladder of international acclaim. In the tweets, Wizkid himself referred to Akon as his ‘big bro’ which means it doesn’t irk him that Akon calls him a ‘lil bro’.

Not willing to back down, MI Abaga still insists Wizkid is still too high to be referred to as ‘lil bro’.

He tweeted again, “I have an opinion: few African artists in diaspora actually did anything to REALLY help the movement.. as a fan of Wizkid (which I am) I don’t see Wiz as lil bro to Akon.. he has overcome larger obstacles to accomplish way more (in my eyes).. In my opinion Wiz is lil bro to none.”
