Gospel Musician Anita Afriyie Warns Disrespectful And Foulmouthed Diaspora Ghanaians Who Insulted Her For Comments On Life Abroad

Not long ago, Ghanaian gospel musician Anita Afriyie was being reported to have said that Ghanaians living abroad are only braggarts who live in single room apartments.

The story incited a lot of public opinion and comments from social media users. For the most part, Ghanaians roasted Anita Afriyie and more especially, those living abroad did not spare the gospel musician.

However, Anita Afriyie has reacted first to the story that purported that she said Ghanaians living abroad were homeless and secondly to the comments from Ghanaians both home and abraod.

According to the musician, she said nowhere in the interview she granted to popular Ghanaian blogger, Zionfelix, that Ghanaians abroad are homeless. Quizzing that why would she say such a thing when she herself and her other relatives live overseas?

After debunking the story, Anita Afriyie then turned her attention to the comments that were made in relation to the article.

She said in a video, shared by Zionfelix again, that: “As for some of those disrespectful Ghanaians in the diaspora who speak anyhow and make any stupid comments that come to mind, let me speak to you.

“If you see that a gospel musician has gone to do something, then you associate it with every gospel musician. Let me tell you that I haven’t being to any shrine before and I haven’t snatched anyone’s husband from her.

So if you think a gospel musician is guilty of these crimes then go on their pages and write those nonsense over there. Don’t tag it to me- calling me a prostitute and husband snatcher.

Because you are dimwitted, you jump on the bandwagon after seeing a caption to some story and you begin to make all sorts of comments on it.

I never said that. I don’t talk anyhow. I was brought up properly from a good home.

After defending herself, she then decided to leave all those who made those insulting comment to God.
