These days, naming is a game. A game aimed at having the most unique/queer baby name than any other celebrity. It’s all about shocking fans with baby names that remain etched in memory; a good way to keep a celebrity relevant.


Celebrity babies/ Ladasha, Heaven, Majesty and Rio Nile

Let’s start with Kenya’s most popular christian couple; Gospel artist Bahati and his wife Diana Marua. They named their daughter Heaven and their son Majesty. Not so crazy I guess – Just a little too Holy if ever these kids are caught doing drugs or drinking alcohol in future.

Former radio and TV personality Annabel Onyango named her son Rio Nile Andel. Another former TV girl TerryAnne Chebet named her daughter Tala. Now, if you’re Kenyan, you know Tala is also a money lending app.

Wajinga Nyinyi hit-maker King Kaka has two kids; namely Gweethgeezy and Prince Iroma.

Another Gospel artist Eko Dydda definitely tops the list of weird bay names. His sons go by I Am Blessed and Keep It Real. Wow!

In a few years time, normal names like Mary, Alice, Betty, Brian, Kevin, David and Joe will be unheard of.

However, with affidavits, children have the freedom to change their names upon adulthood. No need to be stuck with some names kids.
