Music is used as a persuasive tool for political campaigns by every political party in Ghana, songs and movie stars or media personalities are integral features of electioneering in Ghana and this year’s election will not t be an exception. The 2012- and 2016-year’s election of Ghana saw hit tunes from celebrated musicians like Daddy Lumba and Omanhene Sydney.
In Ghana most of the musicians who join political parties to rally are mostly criticized by their fans who are not in support of the political party.
