Telecommunication network MTN has recompensed its customers with 2 Gigabyte of data to make up for its data and international outbound call services disruption that occurred last week due to cuts to an undersea cable.

A press statement released by the telco details all data customers on MTN Ghana’s network will receive free 2GB data valid for 2 days.
The CEO of MTN Ghana, Selorm Adadevoh said that this is to appreciate customer’s patience and support during the period of the disruption.

The Statement stated that the data will be credited directly to accounts of customers and not through a shortcode or via websites. The exercise begins today January 23rd.
