Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa has advice people facing violence in their marriage to save themselves by walking away. She concurs nobody is worth throwing the rest of your life away for.

Toke Makinwa pointed out that it is better to choose your mental health and walk away than act out of anger or frustration.
This comes on the back of Nigerian Maryam Sanda sentenced to death by hanging for stabbing her husband to death in 2017.

In a twitter thread Toke maintained that Divorce is not a sin as sermonized by the society.
