Video of Chinese Man Eating Live Mice Insinuates that Anything in China is Food

The general African palate is used to basic foods that include vegetables and meat from livestock or seafood.

However, all over the world there is a wide variety of foods that can be eaten. In China, many things that Africans might consider bizarre are delicacies.

A video circulating on social media shows a Chinese man eating mice that are still very much alive on his plate.

From reactions, the video has clearly disturbed many who cannot even imagine eating a dead mouse let alone one that’s alive.

“If you’re still wondering how Coronavirus started in China, here you go,” read one comment with regards to the video.

Another user wrote “These guys should just contract us we rear cattle for them, they stop eating weird things.”

A plate of mice however is not the only bizarre food eaten in China. According to Chinese restaurant menus, sheep penis and tuna eyeballs are also a delicacy.
