Angelique Kidjo Visits Nigeria After Grammy Awards Speaks Fluent Yoruba With Asa – Video
Angelique Kidjo has touched down in Nigeria for a performance as she has been spotted in a video rattling the Yoruba dialect as if she is a Nigerian.
The Grammy Award Winner visited the studios of Smooth FM for an interview and was heard audibly conversing with the presenters in Yoruba.

Angelique revealed she left with her family at age 13 and after 46 years, she has returned to entertain the people.
“This is my first time in Lagos… My first time playing in Lagos. The last time I was here was in ’93. I left here at 13 years old.”
