Coronavirus: Doctor Who Warned The World Dies From The Virus

The Chinese doctor who sounded alarm on the deadly outbreak of Coronavirus has died from the virus, international news agencies have confirmed.

The People’s Daily reported that, Dr. Li Wenliang died at 6:58pm on Thursday at the Wuhan Central Hospital where he was working.

Dr. Li, on December 30 2019, sent out a warning to fellow doctors to wear protective clothing to avoid infection after he noticed seven cases of a virus that he thought looked like Sars (a global virus that broke in 2003).

He was later accused, along with seven other people, by the Public Security Bureau for ‘Making false comments’ and ‘severely disturbing the social order’.

The virus has killed 636 people and has infected over 31,000 in mainland China, latest reports show.
