Nigerian Singer, Iyanya Allegedly Involved In A Car Theft

Nigeria Singer Iyanya has allegedly been charged with a car theft by Nigeria Police Special Force Unit(PSFU). He was alleged to have committed the crime in September 2018 when he converted a black Toyota Land Cruiser Prado marked Maviniy belonging to his former Management, The Temple Management Company.

Iyanya, however, pleaded not guilty to the offence and was released to his lawyer. He was to start his bail application and ruling on the case on February 27th and March 27th respectfully. The singer rose to fame after he won the first season of MTN Project Fame, a Music reality TV Show in Nigeria.

Iyanya is best known for his singer ‘kukere’. He had a massive fall out with Ghanaians when he broke up bitterly with Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson and then went ahead to mock her shamelessly. He, after many years of their relationship breakdown and how hard Ghanaians jumped at him, mentioned that he still misses the actress and regrets things didn’t work out well for them.
