Ghanaian Nurse Gang Raped And Murdered By Her Attackers

A 30-year-old Ghanaian nurse has been reported to have been gang raped and murdered by her unknown attackers at a town called Ayuom near Kumasi.

The nurse, who has been identified as Ruth Ama Eshun, was last seen leaving her health post in the Bosomtwe District on February 3, 2020.

Unfortunately, a statement sighted by AfricaCelebrities.com report that Ruth’s lifeless body was found the next day at about 100 meters from her home.

The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives’ Association, a group the late nurse belongs to described the incident as an “inhumane” act.

The group implored the Ghana police service in their statement to “investigate the matter with the urgency it deserves and bring the perpetrators to book”.

Adding that the government must “ensure the safety of Nurses and Midwives working in all parts of the country especially the hard to reach areas.”

It is reported that this nurse (mother of 3) who was working hard to save lives was gang raped and murdered. This is very sad. May her soul rest in peace.
