Kuami Eugene Reveals Why He Calls Himself The ‘Rock Star’
Eugene Kwame Marfo, who goes by the stage name Kuami Eugene is a Ghanaian high-life and afrobeat singer-songwriter and music producer.

The signature ‘Rockstar’ hitmaker is known for songs like “Angela”, “Wish Me Well”, “Ohemaa”, and many others.
In an interview with DnA who’s the host of 30minitzlive show, Kuami Eugene revealed how he opted for the “Rock Star” signature. According to Kuami, he came from the grass to attain a stardom status thus to rock on the stars.

The ‘obiaato’ crooner said in the interview:
“I don’t say rock star because I see myself as a superstar or because I’ve a huge following. but I say Rock Star because it translates who I am. Thus, someone coming from the rocks to become a star,”
