It is no surprise in Ghana to wake up everyday and hear a new tune from the camp of Shatta Movement. Shatta Wale since his return to the music scene in 2013 has been releasing songs almost every week.

In 2018/2019 the dancehall act released more songs than any West African artist and was sometime caught in a state of confusing when a radio station played one of his songs (He had no idea who sang it).

Shatta Wale has however shocked his fans that he, unlike his colleagues, does not put pen to paper to jot down lyrics of the songs he sing.

According to him, all of his songs are recorded off-head and the lyrics come to him naturally.

In a recent interview with Karishma DeQueen on Capital FM in Liberia, Shatta stated that he built a mini studio in his bedroom to help whenever he gets the divine visitation”from the lyrical God”.
