People Who Shout Whilst Praying In Church Are Selfish – Rapper Vector

It’s a popular culture among Nigerian churches, thus to hear congregations praying and singing in loud voices all in the name of making their prayers heard by the supreme eminence.

They are with believe that, intensity of their prayer is mostly to be heard by God. On another flip side, they are asked to shout so that their leaders would know that they are getting along with them.  

Across Africa this Religious culture has been criticised my well-meaning citizens labelling it as noise pollution. Other complain that, the churches are not far from them and their noise disturbs them.

Nigerian rapper, Vector, is the latest celebrity to complain about Christians who shout in churches. He took to the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to make his case known.

Vector asked why people shout in churches with the belief that God would hear them more than their neighbours who did not shout. According to him, the mentality is selfish.

The entertainer said that shouting more than one’s neighbour in church service is not the best, but a competition.
