FDA Ban Brouhaha: Shatta Movement Family To Go On A Demonstration Against FDA

Shatta Movement CEO, Shatta Wale has called on his colleagues in the music industry and other celebrities to join hands as they take onto the streets of Accra to protest.

The protest which is directed against Food and Drug Authority’s (FDA) ban on celebs to endorse alcoholic beverages and rise their fame o the product to be patronized.

Ghanaian celebrities are hungry as Shatta Wale joins the front. Shatta and other celebrities have called out the FDA to revise the law and if possible lift off the ban preventing celebrities to advertise for alcoholic beverages as it serves as a source of revenue for the country and celebrities.

“Adonko wants to sign Ghanaian artistes too… We should let the government know how we need this business to happen. Some of you don’t know how lucrative ambassadorial deals are. People are paying attention to other things than what matters and it’s bad,”
