Dumelo Pays Fees For 50 ‘Needy But Brilliant’ University Students

Ghanaian actor turn politician John Dumelo has extended his kindness to some 50 students of the University of Ghana, Legon.

His benevolent act has saved some 50 needy but brilliant students from deferring their course or being sent out of the school because they could not afford to pay their tuition.

Sharing the great news on his social media pages, Dumelo expressed his excitement in bringing hope to the students who had no idea how to raise funds for their education and were willing to deffer their courses.

He also revealed that these student will not be the only people to benefit from his Foundation.

John Dumelo is currently contesting for the seat of Ayawaso District under the ticket of the opposition party NDC.

“Since 2012, the John Dumelo foundation has been paying fees for brilliant but needy students in institutions all over the country. Yesterday we successfully paid fees for over 50 Legon students who would have deferred their course due to non-registration. We are committed to doing more soon. #idey4u“ He wrote.
