I Hope VGMA At Least Nominates Me For Best Sleeping Awards – Pappy Kojo Writes After Getting No Nominations Again

Awards and recognition have gone hand in hand in the entertainment industry with most entertainers believing plaques are a form of appreciation from fans.

While some artists receive so much awards they have less room to keep, others struggle to be appreciated in the music industry and that has been the fate of Ghanaian Afro pop musician Pappy Kojo.

The 21 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards released their final list of nominees last Saturday and it seems Pappy’s name did not make the cut AGAIN.

Disturbed Pappy Kojo, probably fed up with the scheme, took to his twitter page to free his mind on the decision taken by the board.

He tweeted, “I’m going to bed , I hope vgma at least nominate me for best sleeping awards.”

Some of his followers who believe Pappy Kojo was treated unfairly also punched holes in the award scheme calling it a scam.
