Lydia Forson, an awarding winning Ghanaian actress, has opted to help create more awareness on the deadly COVID-19 outbreak.
This comes after the Information Minister of Ghana, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, openly declared the need for celebrity ambassadors to help create more awareness on the virus.

The minister however stated the Government will not put any celebrity on payroll to broadcast valuable information to prevent further spread of COVID-19.
Lydia Forson in a tweet expressed her interest and advised her colleagues to be proactive in the fight against the global pandemic.

She stated that her pages are always available to churn out every and any information the government needs the general public to hear.
“I don’t think we need wait on government to appoint #coronavirus ambassadors to disseminate information. I think every influencer should make their platform available to the ministry or information and health to share important information. All my pages are available.”
