Ghana Shuts Down Its Borders Today – Prez Akufo Addo

The Government’s attempt to curb the increasing cases of the deadly novel virus, coronavirus has seen the government’s effort of closing down schools across the country and banning social unnecessary gathering.

Last night, President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo again addressed the nation from his office as he ordered the closure of Ghana’s borders from Sunday, March 22, 2020.

This attempt from the government is to help control the prevailing cases of the novel virus infection rate in the country.

In the president’s broadcast he said:

“Anybody who comes into the country, before midnight on Sunday, will be mandatorily quarantined and tested for the virus. This closure will not apply to goods, supplies, and cargo,”
