Man Narrates How Military Officers Nearly Lashed Him To Pulp Following Lockdown Directives

The President Excellency Nana Akufo Addo Ghana declared a partial lockdown of Accra and Kumasi effective 1 am on Monday, March 30, 2020.

The lockdown which was said to take effects in Accra, Tema, and Kumasi for a period of two weeks came to Ghanaian unexpectedly hence poor preparations towards it.

As measures to ensure to it that people adhere to this directive from the president, military men as law enforcement agencies were tasked to ensure this order but it seems their operation is done unprofessionally following the numerous reports.

A young man who has been beaten by security officials has come out to lament about the kind of treatment these security officials are giving to Ghanaians.

The man who looked beating in the video said:

“The government didn’t say this, the government said you can go and cash-out money for food, Government said to protect the human, and you are now killing the human, Why?’
