In an attempt to avert the spread of coronavirus cases in Ghana, the president of the land; His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo announced on March 21 that he was by the executive powers vested in him closing Ghana’s borders by air, sea, and land for two weeks.

Today, April 4, 2020, the Information Minister who is in the person of Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has furthered announce an extension of the said closure to an additional two weeks as instructed by the president.
Making the announcement on his Twitter page, the minister added that the action is to help the occurrence of imported cases to the country.
