GOOD NEWS: Australia Develops Potent COVID-19 Vaccine Ready for Testing

The world is expected to hear some good news soon as some Australian scientists to begin animal testing of some vaccines believed to be the cure for COVID-19, reports say.

According to reports, a team of researchers from the University of Melbourne made a breakthrough in discovering a vaccine which kills the coronavirus in a period of 24hours.

It is said that the vaccine has proven potent in combating various viral attacks on the human cells like HIV, ZIKA.

“We found that even a single dose could essentially remove all viral RNA by 48 hours and that even at 24 hours there was a really significant reduction in it,” Kylie Wagstaff, lead researcher and co-author of the study published today in Antiviral Research, told the press.

“In times when we’re having a global pandemic and there isn’t an approved treatment, if we had a compound that was already available around the world then that might help people sooner, realistically it’s going to be a while before a vaccine is broadly available,” he added.

However, Australia’s national science agency is yet to assess if the vaccines are potent and safe for human testing.
