Nigerian Who Tested Positive For Coronavirus Under Police Watch After Escaping Isolation Centre

The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has launched a manhunt to capture a Nigerian man who tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the Northern part of the country.

The Nigerian who according to reports go by the name Simon Okafor Chukudi reportedly escaped from his residence in the Upper West Regional capital, Wa, after he was diagnosed with the deadly novel virus.

The Wa Police Command as a means to avoid the spread has launched an organized search for the escaped Nigerian who tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The Upper West Regional Director of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Osei Kuffour Afreh in a press encounter has hinted that the search is still on as he Okafor is still not found.

He, therefore, pleaded on the general public to report any said case of ta=hat nature to the nearest police station r health facility.
