President Lifts Lockdown In Ghana But Public Gathering Ban Remains
President Nana Addo has lifted partial restrictions on movements placed on Greater Accra and Ashanti regions of Ghana.
The President in his latest address to the nation said the decision takes effect from Monday, April 2020.
A 3-weeks partial lockdown was placed on some parts of the country by the President to give government the opportunity to contain the spread of the virus.

Although the lockdown has been lifted, ban on social gatherings including religious gathering and closure of Ghana’s borders remain in place.
