Toke Makinwa was reacting to a viral video of an agitated parent beating his son after paying huge sum of money to have him enrolled in school only for the child to skip some examination papers and fail most of his courses.
Sharing her experience on Twitter, Toke opined to parents that allowing your child follow their passion under strict guidance is the sure way to success.

She added that formal education is a necessity but not a guarantee to success, schooling the mind rather is the true key.
The popular media personality revealed she was not always a bright child. She disclosed that she often skipped class and had difficult studying but encouragement from her mum raised her into the celebrity she is now.
