Nigeria Buries 640 People In A Week To A Mysterious Diseases Worst Than COVID-19

Kano, a state in Nigeria, has been hit by a mysterious sickness that has taken the lives of about 640 people in less than seven days in the State.

People in the state have linked the deaths to the novel coronavirus but others also believe it is a fate worst than the deadly virus.

A health worker at the state disclosed to the press that there is suspicion that a government official in the state have been exposed to the virus.

“Things are in disarray here, and there is no well structured response to COVID-19. The government is not communicating. They are not testing, and people are dying. We have had people coming here to hospital and when they died, they are immediately buried without taking samples for testing. 

“This is not a rumor. People are dying. The suspended test centre was fumigated days ago, and normally it should take 48 hours but as of today, it has not been reopened. They said this is because of the shortage of reagents.”

People in the State have been thrown into panic and have taken to social media to react.
