Bible Says Give To The Poor Not Those With Smartphones And Data – Reno Omokri

Nigerian writer and social media commentator, Reno Omokri has advised people to exercise caution when donating to the poor least they fall for frauds.

Reno Omokri revealed in tweet that people with smartphones and can afford regular data are not people hence donations should not be going to them.

He asserted that such people are middle class and the scriptures said give to the poor not the middle class.

“Scripture says give to the poor. It does not say give to those with smartphones and regular data. If you think those are the poor, then you don’t know what poverty means. You are giving to the middle class (and there is nothing wrong with that)” he wrote.
