A Rivers State pastor has tested positive for the coronavirus after he prayed for a female congregant of his church who had the disease.
The woman who is now deceased called her pastor for prayers instead of visiting the hospital. Her two children have also been infected.
This was made known by the governor of the state, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike in a press briefing on the coronavirus situation in the south-central state.
He directed face masks is now mandatory and social distance will be enforced as the state has recorded 13 cases and two deaths.
