Obour Breaks Silence On How He Failed To Win The Asante Akyem South NPP Primaries

Celebrated music sensation and the former Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) President, Bice Osei Kuffour who is popularly known in the music circle as Obour has lost the Asante Akyem South Constituency primaries in the Ashanti Region in the just ended NPP primaries.

The popular crooner, Obour was contesting with three other people including the incumbent Member of Parliament Hon. Kwaku Asante Boateng.

After the heated campaign that wasn’t supported by his own colleague in the music industry for the reasons best known to them, Obofour wasn’t successful in the count of the election results.

The politician cum musician in response to what brought up his lost has said that:

“The delegates of the NPP have decided,” he said in his concession speech. Kwaku Asante Boateng has shown that he is an experienced politician; he’s been in parliament two terms already, and he is going the third term. “Definitely he may have some tricks I don’t have,” he admitted but said it is all good for him as a first-timer. This is my first time of coming into the race and I think the delegates of Asante Akyem South have really shown me, love”.
