Nigerian Veep Denies Receiving Money From Suspended EFCC Chairman
Nigerian Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has rubbished claims that he receieved N4bn from suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu.
Reacting to news making rounds of the Veep’s alleged involvement, the Vice President’s media aide Laolu Akand stated in a tweet that his boss will never be involved in any shady activities, and he described the news as lies “calculated to confuse and concocted to smear Prof. Osinbajo’s image.”
